Jim McDermott graduated from
Boston's New England School of Art
and Design. After a move to California, he
created cartoons, paintings and illustrations for a diverse group of
companies--advertising agencies, animation houses, and publishers of books, magazines and
comic books. Leaving California after a decade, he added a new group of clients when
he relocated to Texas. Returning to the East Coast, he generated a continual flow of
commercial illustration work and also became a member of the Seacoast Art Association in
1997. His art for animation includes character
designs for Filmation's 1986-87 Ghostbusters series. His work for comic books has appeared in GrimJack, Omega Men
and Heavy Metal.
Video Games & Computer Entertainment and
TurboPlay

Apple Computer, Blackthorne Comics,
DiC Entertainment, Eternity Comics, Fidelity Investments, Fizz, Fruit of the
Loom, Gregg Press,
